  • We made $21.80 in June 2008 from Google AdSense. How can we integrate Reading, Writing & Media Literacy into a unit on Making Money Online. #
  • Typing on the little keyboard on a netbook laptop is slower than typing on a regular keyboard because those keys are so darn close together. #
  • The SD card reader on the MDG Flip is tricky: pull out the cover (attached), force the SD card in position by holding the cover closed #
  • Franklin Covey Plan Plus for outlook has great potential for project management (hierarchial tasks) but crashes too much to be reliable. #
  • Need a tool to manage multple projects beyond MS Outlook. Something with hierachial tasks but accessible offline as well. (Google docs isnt) #
  • $600 for MS Project to manage your own life / projects seems like overkill http://bit.ly/2I1YFp #
  • Pocket Informant is a great Task Management system for Windows Mobile. http://www.pocketinformant.com Is there a Windows Mobile emulator? #
  • Plan Plus for Outlook (WinXP) crashed repeatedly. We sync’d it with Pocket Informant (PDA), moved tasks, sync’d it back & it works. For now. #
  • Called to find the price of replacement styluses for the MDG Flip tablet netbook: $4.50 #
  • How long will it be before car GPS units start using Google Androids / Maps to geolocate your friends by their cell phones? #
  • Need to make our blog blogger-friendly to encourage more comments; have to add WordPress plugins that link back to bloggers who comment. #
  • Our Google PageRank is a measly 1 or 2, but our Alexa rank, Technorati rank, and Compete rank are on the rise. #
  • We’re getting a number of comments on our review of the MDG Flip tablet netbook, including one from the marketing director of MDG. #
  • Intel Educational Administrator backup tool on the MDG Flip is relatively quick (10 min+) to backup/restore based on how much stuff you have #
  • It’s taking 1 to 2+ hours to delete/move old backup images off of our USB key created by the Intel Ed Admin backup tool on the MDG Flip. #
  • Futureshop sells a Lacie 1TB USB drive for $170. The backup tool on the MDG Flip will only allow a max partition of 32 GB for backups. #
  • The USB backup tool on the MDG Flip limits you to a 32GB drive. Work around this by creating multiple FAT32 partitions on your USB drive. #
  • When creating multiple partitions on your USB hard drive for your MDG Flip backup files, create the FAT32 partition for 32767 MB (31.98 GB) #
  • Intel Educational Administrator USB backup tool took around 30 min to backup 10 GB of stuff on our MDG Flip. #
  • Can you mount the MDG Flip USB backup as a virtual drive/PC? Can tech-savvy students use this to get copies of school-licensed software? #
  • It’s the little things that makes Google powerful: search in Chrome & horizontal bars appear in the scroll bar highlighting your search term #
